To Our Residents and Family Members:
We know some of you may be concerned about the spread of COVID-19 (the new coronavirus) being reported in the media and how it may impact us here at the facility.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and our state government have recommended strategies to prevent the spread of COVID-19 into our facility.
The main recommendation of these governmental agencies is to restrict and limit visitors.
Carespring facilities implemented these recommendations on March 10. We continue to be on visitor restrictions.
In the event, a patient is ill or is receiving end of life care, limited visitation will be allowed. In these cases, you will be contacted by a facility representative requesting your visit. We understand connecting with family members is incredibly important and there are a variety of ways you might consider connecting with them. We are happy to assist you with connecting you with your loved one electronically via phone, computer and social media.
Again, our facility is following the recommendations of the CDC on prevention steps, including strict hand washing procedures, all team members are wearing masks. Goggles or face shields and other PPE are used when in close resident contact. Please be assured, we will continue to follow the CDC recommendations as they are updated. In addition, we are in close contact with the local and state health department and are following their guidance.
Lastly, we will notify you if any residents are diagnosed with COVID-19. Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact our center.
