Unfortunately, the word care has become so overused it has almost become meaningless.
So we’d like to share what we mean when we use the word care. To us, care means paying attention.
It’s spending time with residents so that we intuitively know what will best help and comfort each resident. Sometimes that means arriving at exactly the right time to help a resident with dressing or bathing.
Sometimes it means an extra hug on an extra hard day. Or sometimes it’s getting a group together to go on an outing.
Of course, care is medical, too. It’s knowing exactly the right therapy following a knee replacement. Or it’s guided imagery that helps keep a resident mentally alert.
But at its heart, care is a bond between residents and the caregivers. We invite you to visit any Carespring community and see how strong that bond can be.
